Secondary Transition

Secondary transition planning is the process of preparing students for life after high school and includes planning for postsecondary education or training, employment and independent living.

For students with disabilities, Minnesota has specific requirements regarding evaluation and educational programming. Our guidance re: secondary transition due process is located on the Secondary Transition pages on the Case Manager Resources (CMR) website

The World's Best Workforce (WBWF) is a plan that districts create annually to document steps they are taking to meet school readiness goals — including having all students attain career and college readiness before graduating from high school and having all students graduate from high school.
